New VoiceNation Features

1. In call controls (used with live connect calls only)*
To access the “In call controls” press ** while talking live to your callers.
• Press 1 to transfer a caller to voice mail so that he/she can leave a detailed message that you can review later, when time permits.
• Press 2 to transfer the caller to another number (e.g. business associate or a land line if cellular reception is poor)
• Press 5 to record the call, the recorded call will then be emailed to you as an MP3 file to the email address of your choice
.

2. Respond to Message Sender *
When checking messages over the phone you can now press 6 to respond to the caller. Your voicemail number will actually dial the caller back that left the message to their caller ID phone number. The person you are calling back will see your Voicenation voicemail number on their caller ID giving them the impression that your Voicenation number is your main business line.

3. New call screening on live connected calls
This new feature can only be used with live connected calls that use the “Call Screening” feature. Typically on the live connected call, your phone rings and you pick it up to hear, “transferring a call from “callers name” , to accept this call press 1 or press 2 to decline, this new feature gives you a third option at this point. If you press 3 when prompted, you can record a quick message for the caller to hear before the go into voicemail. For example, if it is your business partner calling you, you could record a greeting that says, “Hey John I’m on the other line with our attorney it may be a while, I’ll call you as soon as we are finished, thanks”. Then the caller goes into your voicemail.

Did You Know

The next time you answer your business phone, try starting the conversation by telling the caller that you're a small business. You wouldn't do that would you? You know that no matter how impressive it might be, a tall building filled with a sea of cubicles has little to do with the quality of the service or product that your company provides. You know that...but the caller might not! They don't have to know that you're a small businessTM. VoiceNation has now made it very affordable for you to make your small business sound like a large corporation on the phone. The only difference? You don't have to pay to have 100 offices cleaned every day.
